Is there an application fee and is it refundable? YES there is a Standard Student Application/Admin Charge of £55 or £115 charge for a Masters and Doctorate Programme. This is non-refundable as this eliminates time wasters and assures us that you are committed to your success, course and learning.
Is there a dress code? YES.
At Excel University whilst on campus/lectures you are expected to wear appropriate smart/casual attire (not revealing/seductive or offensive) or your uniform at all times.

Our Excel Leadership Uniform is not compulsory to wear however for those who decide to it is cost effective, as we have taken the time to make it affordable for all who are serious about Excellence.
We provide full uniform, however, you do not have to purchase the entire garments from us. The only garments that is compulsory to purchase from us is our unisex brand LEADERSHIP BLAZER, tie and study back pack and study bag, this is from our supplier which ensures good quality and uniformity. Although we can supply the full uniform you have the option to purchase the plain white shirt, grey trousers/skirts and formal/smart shoes elsewhere.
Why does Excel University mailing address and contact number not appear on contact page?
Our mailing address and contact number was removed from the contact page after the board of directors decided that it was best for all communication to be sent by email due to many nuisance calls, junk and duplicate mail sent to our offices. As well as efforts to Go Green and support climate change by saving paper, trees etc. Moreover due to the sophistication of current technology most if not all administration, forms and documentation can be completed securely with online digital services or by way of email, and or video conferencing services. Excel University Board of Governors/Directors are responsible for our Governance & Policies. They ensure Quality Assurance of courses offered by Excel University are delivered and managed to the highest academic standards. What are the entry requirements and can I work my way up from the bottom to degree level?
YES, you can work your way from the bottom to degree level by starting with the basic courses from Certificate Level to Post-Graduate Degree Level.
The entry requirements are as follows, as well as providing two references, we need clear photocopies of x2 proof of address this can be a utility bill or payslip, also a copy of a valid passport or driver’s licence to validate who you are and which displays your date of birth and clear photocopies of x2 colour passport size head and shoulders photographs of your current image for administration purposes and to issue you with your Student I.D.

How do I know what course is a Certificate, Diploma or Degree?
Most of our 5 degree courses have the option to study at all levels.
Generally the 1 day to 3 months courses are to Certificate Level.
The (Undergraduate), 5 months courses are to Higher Certificate to Diploma.
The (Undergraduate & Graduate), 12+ months courses are to Higher Diploma to Bachelors.
And the (Post-Graduate), 12 months to 3 years courses are to Masters & Doctoral Degree Level.
It is also possible to transfer your credits and in some cases a Masters or Doctoral Course can be completed within 1-2 years with our University.
Can I study online distance learning? YES you can now study online at Excel University.
Online Distance learning is managed and run by senior lecturers. They are at hand to offer support by email or phone conference calls for any of our courses, courses are sent securely by email using our course website platform.
Please note since covid19 most of our courses are now completed online on our secure newly build website platform.
Please note that Excel University make lectures available internationally.
Majority of our courses are research based and now completed online or from time to time on Campus in various locations in the UK and globally.
Is my course still recognised as full-time even though I only attend when required by lecturer? YES, as most of our courses are placement based and practical assessment, it is still undertaken as a full-time course.
Students attend lectures only when required, usually EVENINGS & WEEKENDS those that are studying through our ONLINE LEARNING do not need to attend campus.
Are any of the Excel University Courses Government Funded? NO.
We are a private and Independent Christian Faith based University.
We do not rely on the government to fund any of our Leadership or Theology courses.
However we are in partnership with a college that offers mainstream courses which works with providers that offer funding, please contact us for more information.
As we are a totally independent Christian organisation, we have set up Student Referral Incentives: We give an incentive to every student that recommends a student to our university to enrol on any of our courses provided that we are notified before the time of enrolment and payment. This is a one off payment per time of between 10 – 30 percent of each of the student fee that is paid for their course(s). Typical example of referral incentive allocated, here: 1-3 students (10%), 3-4 students (20%), and 5-10 or more students (30%) is paid. (Terms & Conditions Apply). This allows students to make an income to cover their fees or use the income to purchase their materials, resources and tools or to simply use as they wish, this benefits students and Excel University to advance the Kingdom, to spread the gospel, to cover our running costs and keep empowering Kingdom people to excel Spiritually, mentally and intellectually. We are an institution that predominantly provides Christian higher education & religious training for Christian ministers of religion, leaders and clergy.
When was Excel University established?
Excel University was established in 2005 trading as Excel University and expanding internationally and officially opened internationally in 2012.
Our religious higher education institution has been operating as an unregistered charity. However the board of directors decided to register it as a company to secure more credible partnerships.

EL validate and accredit Bible-based Theology & Leadership and Academic Programmes & Courses globally for the benefit of the faith and wider community. Established by ordained Ministers since 2001, and formalised in 2017 as a UK registered company, Limited by Guarantee with the Educational support services code.
Excel University is an internationally recognised independent Leadership & Theological Academy and Seminary that partners with other ministries within the Body of Christ, as well as accredited bodies such as, Prospects Development Services (PDS) who offer students Post Graduate/Under Graduate Courses.
Do people graduate and wear the graduation gown at Excel University? YES.
Upon completion of our courses & programmes and in cases of graduation an official certificate will be issued which will give individuals the credibility and credentials needed to excel further. Students graduate upon successful completion of any of our Excel University 3 months, 5 months, 12 months or 3 years Courses that are successfully completed.
We have our own customised GRADUATION ROBES complete with hood & hat and Excel University’s colours. Students are required to pay for the Excel University graduation gown. Excel University arrange graduation gown attire at an administration fee.
Smart formal attire or Excel University uniform must be worn to graduation ceremony. Excel University perform numerous formal graduation ceremonies every year at campus and prestigious venues. Family can be invited to support and photographers can be arranged if necessary.
Has individuals, churches and ministries benefited from Excel University programmes/courses? YES. Many have benefited from our course teachings and principles, individuals and churches have implemented our principles and have gone on to succeed in leadership, life and ministry.
We currently work in partnership with churches to equip their members and leadership teams.
Up until recently many graduates and honourees have benefited from our degrees and training and some notable leaders and new leaders have used Excel University as referees to become chaplains or to take on senior & professional positions. Excel University has opened many doors for people.
Does Excel University guarantee any work after course completion such as Media, Business, Leadership or Drama/Film?
NO. Excel University does not guarantee work after completion of our courses, especially for our popular courses such as Leadership, Business, Coaching, Media, or Drama/Film. Mainly due to the individual’s commitment to Excel. However we have a strong track record and a high success rate of those who we have taught and helped which have gone on to excel in fields such as business start up and growth, radio with established media firms, professional film and television work and work in leadership positions. We are able to give a high recommendation and reference to prospective employers and organisations due to the depth and high quality of our courses and programmes, most of our key quality contacts and those who discover us are always impressed with our standards of Excellence, which causes many to ask us to train and recommend people to them.
Are Excel University Courses & Programmes Recognised by employers and training institutions? SOME MAY DO SUBJECT TO INDIVIDUAL DISCRETION.
Because Excel University is an Independent Leadership & Theological Faith based organisation we believe we should not allow secular institutions to dictate the requirements for our qualifications, courses, our degree programmes or our lecturers. As a Christian university, Excel University offers academic courses & programmes that are specifically designed to impart God’s Word, wisdom, Spiritual awareness and growth into the lives of students and to assist them in developing ministerial and leadership careers or to further their knowledge and understanding of God’s Word.
This enables people to manage and take personal responsibility to lead themselves in the spirit of Excellence.
We hold strong ‘Kingdom’/ ‘Christian Faith’ values and standards and are committed to Excellence in every area.
The acceptance of Excel University credits or degrees by other institutions, including employers, must ultimately be determined by the respective employers or institutions. Although we should not generally be open to or likely to face discrimination due to our religious morals.
We believe our credits/courses qualifications/degrees are credible and carries weight like any other qualifications or credit based degrees, therefore it can be used to gain employment like any other qualifications/degrees and some institutions may accept our credits to be transferred if needed for on going study, an official reference can also be provided if needed upon request on an individual basis.

Does Excel University give Covering for Affiliation and Accountability purposes? YES we can do this, however the requirements for this must be that you have undertaken a course in leadership at our university for a minimum period of 5 months, we also need to have known you for a period of 5 months and have credible references to cover a period of 1-3 years and a track record of what you have done or do to develop in leadership within a period of 1-3 years.
We do not offer Registrar Training or related qualifications therefore you would need to seek further training if you desire to legalise marriages, you will also need to follow the law accordingly in the country you wish to undertake such duties.
Alternatively we do offer training on the best practice to carry out a Blessing Service/Renewal of Vows or Officiate a Marriage Ceremony/Wedding jointly with a Licensed Register and best practice.
Do you have a Refund Policy? YES, our policy is as follows, we do not refund fees for application/enrolment or any courses/programmes otherwise payment has been made by way of duplication in error. In the case that any of the uniform or products we supply are faulty or damaged we will offer adequate replacement.
What is Excel University’s Terms & Conditions? Our terms & conditions are as follows:
a. We have the right to refuse an applicant without giving any explanation if we feel they are not suitable for any of our courses/programmes.
b. We have the right to remove/terminate student(s) from courses/programmes who do not abide by our code of conduct or are disrespectful or offensive in anyway to our lecturers or students.
c. We have the right to cancel an applicant’s enrolment process if at least two references are not given and or not confirmed within 14 days.
d. We have the right to change our terms, policy and increase our prices at any-time as we see fit.

We are not a denominational organisation, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only to their over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ.
We believe the only true basis of Christian fellowship is God’s (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians (Christ followers).
We believe worship of God (Yahweh, Adonai, El-Shaddai) should be spiritual.
Therefore, we remain flexible and yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct our worship.
We believe in all the Sound doctrines of historic Christianity.

After Jesus ascended to Heaven, He poured out His Holy Spirit on the believers in Jerusalem, enabling them to fulfil His command to preach the Gospel to the entire world, an obligation shared by all believers today.
We believe that all people are, by nature, separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person repents of sin and accepts Jesus Christ as personal Saviour and Lord, trusting Him to save, that person is immediately born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit, all his/her sins are forgiven, and that person becomes a child of God, destined to spend eternity with the Lord.
We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) mentioned in the Scriptures, and that they are valid for today if they are exercised within the scriptural guidelines. We as believers are to covet the best gifts, seeking to exercise them in agape love that the whole Body of Christ might be edified. We believe that love is more important than the most spectacular gifts, and without this agape love all exercise of spiritual gifts is worthless.
We are living in a day of great spiritual confusion. When Paul wrote to the Ephesians he spoke of how God had placed pastors and teachers in the church for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the building up of the body of Christ. The purpose was to bring them into spiritual maturity that they would not be carried away with every wind of doctrine and slight cunning of men who lie in wait to deceive. These are days when there are many winds of doctrine blowing through the church. The greatest defence against deception is a solid foundation in the Word.
